About Guangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Group

Born for the City, Thriving with Industry

On June 11, 2025, Guangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Group was officially inaugurated at the Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Center. This marked a solid step forward in Guangzhou’s journey — as a millennium-old commercial capital — toward becoming a world-class exhibition city. It is also a strategic move to drive the high-quality development of the exhibition industry and support the city’s modern industrial system.

Guangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Group was established under the directives of the CPC Guangzhou Municipal Committee and the Guangzhou Municipal Government, with coordinated support from the Guangzhou State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission and the Guangzhou Commerce Bureau. It leverages the full value chain strengths of Lingnan Group — spanning commerce, travel, hospitality, tourism, catering, food and logistics — to integrate the city’s premium exhibition resources. As a member enterprise of Lingnan Group, the Group carries an extraordinary mission from day one: to empower industry through exhibitions and to revitalize the city through industry. Its vision is to build a leading one-stop, full-service “industry-driven exhibition” platform in China.

why Us

Adopting a “market-oriented, professional, international, digital, brand-driven and green” development strategy, the Group draws on Lingnan Group’s superior resources in exhibition venues, conference centers, hotels, commercial facilities and tourism services. It has built a “1+3+N” diversified venue portfolio — one professional exhibition complex, three city-center conference hotels and a multitude of event spaces — offering a total meeting space of 1.3 million square meters. The Group’s business spans exhibition organization, conference management, incentive travel, festivals and events, forming a full-process one-stop service ecosystem that covers every stage of an exhibition.

Six-Pronged Strategy, Full-Chain Layout

Fully committed to both “bringing in” and “going global”, the Group harnesses the mature overseas network of Lingnan Group’s GZL Tours — present in over 100 countries and regions — to organize international exhibition participation for Guangzhou enterprises while, in parallel, precisely inviting targeted overseas buyers to attend local exhibitions, thereby elevating the caliber and global reach of Guangzhou-hosted events. The Group is also actively exploring cross-sector integration models such as “exhibition + sports events” and “exhibition + tourism”, continuously unleashing the multiplier effect of the exhibition economy.

Global Vision, Dual Empowerment

With the strategic goal of “stable launch in year one, visible results in year three, and becoming an influential top-tier domestic exhibition group in year five”, Guangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Group is crafting an ambitious 15th Five-Year Plan. It aims to position itself as the leading exhibition enterprise in the Greater Bay Area, actively introducing world-renowned international conferences, summits and industry events to Guangzhou while incubating city-level IP projects spanning “exhibitions, conferences, performances, competitions and festivals”. The Group is committed to injecting sustained “exhibition momentum” into Guangzhou’s drive to become an international consumption hub and a globally recognized exhibition capital, while also contributing to the coordinated economic development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Forward Together, Toward the Future

FAQ

Why should we participate in a brand-new exhibition?

Smart Future Expo may be a new brand, but it is not built from scratch. It is backed by two powerful pillars:

Government endorsement — The expo is strongly supported by the Guangzhou Municipal Government as part of its strategy to build the city into a world-class exhibition hub. This means guaranteed policy support, official buyer delegations, and extensive local industry mobilization.

Global expertise — Our co-organizer, Hannover Milano Bitter Exhibition (Guangzhou), brings world-class operational standards and access to Hannover's global buyer database of nearly 1.5 million procurement professionals across 100+ countries.

In short, you are not betting on an unknown event. You are stepping onto a government-backed, professionally run platform designed to connect you with real buyers in China's most dynamic economic region — the Greater Bay Area.

What kind of buyers and visitors can we expect?

We expect over 70,000 professional visitors, with a strong focus on quality over quantity:

1.Overseas buyers: 2,000+ international procurement delegates, with targeted delegations from RCEP countries, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Latin America, invited through Hannover's global network and overseas industry associations.

2.Domestic buyers: Key decision-makers from automotive, 3C electronics, pharmaceutical, logistics, and intelligent manufacturing sectors across the Greater Bay Area — China's most concentrated manufacturing and innovation hub.

3.One-on-one matching: Every exhibitor can request pre-screened buyer meetings through our dedicated business matching service, so you don't just wait for visitors — we bring the right ones directly to your stand.

How much does it cost, and what support do we get?

Shell scheme packages start at competitive rates comparable to other major trade fairs in the region. A full price list with booth options (shell scheme, raw space, premium locations) is available upon request.

Beyond the booth, your participation includes:

1.Access to our one-on-one business matching program at no extra charge.

2.Profiling in the official exhibitor directory and exposure through our international promotion channels.

3.Dedicated pre-show and on-site support in English, including visa invitation letters, logistics coordination, and local travel assistance.

We want your experience to be smooth from start to finish, so you can focus entirely on finding the right partners and closing deals.
